New Hours begin this week

We will now be open on Sundays!  Starting on March 4th the store will be open from 12-4PM each Sunday.  We plan to keep these hours until school is out in June so come by and see us this Spring!

Come and Get It!

First one here gets the best pick.  We have received some fabulous pieces this week and don't expect them to last too long.  Check out the very retro buffet.  She is 90" long and perfect for your very large flat screen.  the oval table has a painted base with a walnut stain finish on the top.  And right now we have the perfect set of four chairs making this a lovely pieced together set.

We also have this sweet little desk that would work as a desk or as a vanity.  Freshly painted in a cottage white with robins egg blue knobs.  The china cabinet is in beautiful condition and stores a lot of dishes in a very small space.

And if you are looking for a small dresser or a file cabinet these pieces are great.  Neither are old but both have great construction and are in great condition.

Loving these "vintage" cards

It is so exciting to make new contacts with people who like old stuff!  These beautiful letterpress cards are printed on an antique press by a local Oakton lady.  She dropped by the shop to show me these and of course I had to have some.  Each one is printed by hand on  classy Crane Lettra 100% cotton paper.  The attention to detail on the envelope puts them over the top!

We're gonna be in Pictures!

Loads of fun this morning with a national home builder designer filming at REfind!  We are so flattered to have our little shop chosen for their video shoot today.  The designer was lovely and the production crew a funny team.  We can't wait to see the finished product. 

We found it encouraging that a "new" home builder would include a segment on adding items from a second hand store.  Maybe a sign of the economic times, but in my opinion, such a smart way to get that collected look we all love.  And best of all, knowing they were coming made us extra conscious about making sure the shop is stocked and inviting for shopping.

Please, just this once make a comment to help me make up my mind.  I would like to add another time the store will be open so that those who work can enjoy the store on a day other than Saturday.

Sundays 1PM-5PM
