The week for art

This happens to be the week for art at REfind.  Since I never know what a consignor will be consigning, I am always surprised when it works out to be just what the store needs.  My walls were getting pretty boring, with not much on them, until one of my consignors arrived Tuesday with art in tow!  All of the pieces are very reasonably priced and would help you fill that white wall you've been looking at all winter.  This is a small sample of what you will find at REfind today.

Did you see theREfind table in the Washington Post?

How many of you saw the cute table from my shop in the Washington Post this past week?  Well, you would need to know who purchased it like I did to really know it was in the photo, but when I saw the cupcakes laid out on the table I was thrilled!  My customer is using the table for her cupcake business.  Just to remind you here is the picture I took before the shop even opened.

Your opinion please?

I was finally able to prop open the front doors again at REfind.  Yeah for nice weather and lots of customers!  It is amazing how many people check out the store when the sun is shining.  I guess I am a fair weather shop.  

Would love some comments that will help me figure out the best way to let people know that I am up here on the second floor.  How did you initially find me?  How do you know that my shop is open?  Since I am a small shop the advertising budget is low so I need to make sure what I do makes sense to the customers.  Town restrictions prevent me from adding open flags, etc.  Would ribbons tied to the porch rails help?  Tell me what you think right here in the comment section and as always, enjoy the photos of some of the new items!

Here comes the sun......it's gonna be alright!

What a fabulous day!  Waking up in the AM and thinking you left the lights on all night but then you figure it is just the sun shining in your window.  Upon entering REfind I was happy to see all of my Spring things looking especially, well, Springy!  Amazing how light affects how things look in a room. 

I can't wait to have a day to Spring up my own home.  Change out the winter pillows, move some art around, unlayer the winter warmth and clean a closet or two.  It is fun to decorate in a way that allows you to honor the seasons with a few changes.  How will you Spring up your home?
