"It's beginning to look alot like Christmas!"

I put the tree up yesterday and had a good time decorating it with what I had.  This year I decided at the store I would do something very simple but still elegant.  I have used very few ornaments, just some zinc tags tied on with jute.  The majority of the color and texture comes from floral picks, a garland of cotton, and a garland of burlap.  It was so easy to get the desired effect with out going to a huge expense or effort. 

That is how I hope the holidays will be this year.  Simple, elegant and effortless.  Who knows that you didn't get "all" of your ornaments out this year?  Who cares if the colors don't quite match up exactly?  I was beginning to stress about "getting it all done" in the store.  And then I just jumped in and found that it all came together easily if I just relaxed and enjoyed the process without getting so hung up on it all being perfect.

I would love to hear what you think of my sweet little tree.  Can't wait to finish the rest of what I have in mind for the store.  But, for now I want to finish enjoying the real start of this beautiful Fall weather!
